Neighbours’ Input Needed

Please put my name to the opponents of laneway houses.    It was a great concept but it appears that city planning did not consider the input of neighbours before issuing permits.       There has been no notices to build laneway houses (as required when a new garage or even a deck is built).

To grant permits to 5 laneway houses in one block (4600 west 11th) is  very poor planning.     The pressure on street parking (already jammed) is a great issue.

I’ve been by that block lots. There are ALWAYS parking spots available, even on school days. Perhaps the issue is all the people on both sides of the block, who either don’t have garages, or don’t use their garages for parking their cars?
